Professional Video Golf Instruction
Video teaching has become a major factor in the life of a golf teaching professional. Used properly it can promote the learning skills of my students which in turn makes the game much more enjoyable. "A picture is worth a thousand words" truly applies in teaching golf. One word of advice however, always leaves my students with a positive image—which I hope is the one that you will remember.
During your video golf lessons I will take video from both the static positions and in-motion, or dynamic golf positions. I will be looking for good posture, take away, spine angle, head position, swing plane, right elbow, direction of club at the top of the backswing, start of downswing, club path, impact and follow through. Balance and Extension is key. This view is achieved from the side view approach or down the line target. Professional video golf instruction is a major key to success in these areas.
The front view video golf lessons will look at stance width, grip, hand position, head position in relation to the golf ball, ball position and weight distribution. Again, static and in motion views will be shot. Looking for take away, L position, top of backswing, head motion, weight shift on back foot, start of down swing, weight shift on forward foot, lower body starting downswing, release of clubhead, square clubface at impact, head position at impact and follow through.
All of these things are important to look at and even more important to achieve in order to professionally progress your golf game to the next level. Golf video never lies — it is the teller of all truths. Trust what we see and improvement is just a few clicks away.
We will sit down after your golf video lessons and break down your before and after swings and I will also provide you with a DVD to take home with you so you can study in between golf lessons and have something to reference back to in case you forget.
